Pan-African renewable power producer company, BioTherm Energy, backed by leading market investor Actis, has announced the official operations of its Excelsior Wind Energy Facility at the end of 2020.
Golden Valley wind farm has just connected to the South African electricity grid. With a capacity of 120 MW, the installation is located in the Eastern Cape Province.

OptiPower Projects, which was recently acquired by Murray & Roberts (M&R), is progressing with its work on the Golden Valley Wind Farm, in the Eastern Cape.
As part of OptiPower’s Upington Nieuwehoop 400kV line project, OptiPower elected to donate to a local school in Upington – Swarthmore Primary School.
The Eros – Vuyani 400kV line runs in the South Westerly direction almost parallel to the coastline from Eros Substation which is close to Harding, towards the Mthatha area where the new Substation will be built.
